She utilizes a multifaceted approach to chiropractic care and believes that optimal health and function can be achieved through the combination of joint manipulations and mobilizations, acupuncture, soft tissue therapies, rehabilitative exercises and most importantly patient education. She helps her patients recover quicker and return to their activities sooner, heal more completely, and decrease their chances of re-injury. Dr. Heaton recognizes the importance of integrating chiropractic care into mainstream medicine; Dr. Heaton works with medical doctors and other health care providers when referrals and/or co-management are appropriate. Dr. Heaton earned her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005.
