Continuing the legacy provided by the early settler families and museum founders, the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre is a unique focal point of community partnerships, appreciations and interpretation for the Town and its heritage preservation. The City of Kawartha Lakes Revenue & Taxation Department would like to hear from residents – seasonal and full-time – regarding how they pay their municipal tax and water bills and whether there are different options residents would like to see. Residents currently have the option of paying their bills at Municipal Service Centres, City Hall, at their financial institution, Online and through pre-authorized payments. This survey is intended to help identify further opportunities to assist residents in paying their municipal bills.
People of all ages and backgrounds are coming together to learn what it means to have a meaningful relationship with God and with others. This Centre offers many opportunities to get active, focus on health and wellness, and enjoy time with family, friends and neighbours. Conveniently located on McCowan Road at Bullock Drive next to Centennial GO Station and Markville Mall, Centennial Community Centre has something for everyone.. This facility features a state-of-the-art health and fitness centre, a pool with a diving tank that offers swimming lessons plus drop-in lane and recreational swimming, an ice rink and a gymnasium, an outdoor skate park and indoor bocce courts. There are also a range of rooms for rent, including a banquet hall and lounge.
