In June 2000, gravitypope opened a Calgary location. This first expansion was greatly anticipated by numerous footwear fans who had been making the trek to shop the Edmonton location. The open concept, multi-level 70's inspired micro department store features a striking 20-foot-high central atrium; strung with a collection of Bocci glass 'bubble' pendants. Below, clusters of brass drums showcase footwear and handbag collections while seamless glass shelving houses body care and fragrances. A pair of stunning silver, space age display cabinets grandly flank the walls in the clothing section, while large brass Moda chandeliers warmly highlight the incomparable shoe gallery.
