Moksha Yoga is a green, clean, hot yoga series that stretches, strengthens and tones the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. While all classes are rooted in the Moksha Yoga series, teachers are encouraged to bring their own unique knowledge and experience every time they enter the room to teach. This includes (but is not limited to): leadership development, character building, positive peer, family, and/or staff relationships, group cohesion, and coping strategies.+ Staff +Lise Brown, BRS, MIRSWMomenta Facilitator and OwnerLise completed her Bachelor of Recreation in 2001, and her Masters of Social Work in 2007. She studied community development, wilderness therapy, program evaluation, and co-occurring disorders. Lise completed a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2012. Lise uses these skills to facilitate groups and counsel individuals both in urban and wilderness environments with a focus on physical and emotional safety, successful participation, fun, meaningful activity and group cohesion.

MTS IceplexOpened in August 2010, the MTS Iceplex is a 177,000 square foot multipurpose, state-of-the-art facility that is open year round. It consists of four rinks, each with NHL regulation size ice surfaces (200' x 85'). In addition, the facility boasts a dedicated Goalie training centre (45' x 37'), 22 player dressing rooms, high performance fitness and training facilities, a full service pro shop, licensed restaurant and lounge, concession and vending facilities as well as conference facilities.The MTS Iceplex provides between 11,000 and 13,000 hours of ice annually which serves the minor hockey community, adult recreation leagues, tournaments, summer camps and casual rentals.MTS Iceplex has been recognized as a Hockey Canada Centre of Excellence and was one of three venues that hosted the 2011 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge, a major international hockey tournament held by Hockey Canada each year.MTS Iceplex is home to the following tenant teams:Winnipeg JetsMTS Iceplex serves as the official practice and training facility of the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club.

The North End Community Renewal Corporation (NECRC) was founded in 1998 by a coalition of Winnipeg organizations who were concerned about some of the trends in the north end of Winnipeg and who were aware of the good results that community development corporations in other parts of North American were achieving in revitalizing inner city communities. The NECRC was established to serve the community within the geographic area north of the CP tracks, south of Carruthers Ave., east of McPhillips Street and west of the Red River.The mandate of the corporation is to promote the social, economic and cultural renewal of the north end of Winnipeg. It does this by improving the quality and accessibility of housing, creating jobs, upgrading commercial and industrial areas, implementing employment development programs, improving the overall image of the community, and reducing crime in the community. The corporation provides co-ordination activities and a strategic focus for many of the community improvement activities taking place in the north end.NECRC is committed to the social, economic and cultural renewal of the North End of Winnipeg.NECRC defines its development goals through annual consultations and ongoing networking with North End residents and businesses
