Welcome! A visit to the Virden Pioneer Home museum acquaints guests with the way of life of an established Victorian family in the Canadian west. The large brick-veneer home, which houses the majority of the Museum's collection, was built in 1888 on 'Quality Hill', which represented one of the wealthiest districts in early Virden. Each room has been re-furbished to the charm of the era, with numerous period items and furniture--giving it a homey, almost lived in feeling.
