When I go to Coco et Blanco, I feel like I am being taken care of, every time I go. I actually enjoy getting a haircut, when I dreaded it before, not knowing if the person I was seeing will do a good job. I am confident, as is the staff that I look sharp when I go there. Thanks again :)Read more
Steve has a little hair salon business going in Castle Downs. I once lived adjacent to the strip mall that he is leasing space from. He is a personable guy who has a very pleasant way about him. But he always has worked me into his schedule whenever I needed a quick trim. He gives me the kind of hair cut that I have never been able to get anywhere else. Now that I live over 20 min away by car I still make him my barber of choice. I really appreciate Steve! He is a one man band. Best wishesRead more
I started bringing my daughter here after a fiasco with great Clips. They do an amazing job with everyone in my family. In my opinion an extra 10 bucks is worth the skilled staff and the luxury experience.Read more
From a young age, Lyn has been interested in all things artistic. She was drawn to art, fashion, and makeup & hair, an interest in which she formed the inspiration for her career.
At thirteen years old, Lyn went to the live in Jordan for a year. The Middle East was far more advanced in the art of hair and makeup, and Lyn became inspired. She started to learn hairstyles she saw in magazines through trial and error, and she went from simply replicating looks to creating ones of her own!
We have been proudly serving our customersWe mostly take in booking, but we definalty take walk ins.We will try our best to fit you into our schedule to look wonderful! At our salon we work a 2 man team, Roman and Jack.
I've been going here for many years now. Occasionally I try someplace else...simply because I'm out of Millwoods and it's more convenient. I've had both good and bad haircuts at other salons. I have NEVER had a bad haircut here...which is what keeps me coming back!
Although I've had cuts from a few stylists here (and they were all good) my main stylist is April and she is fantastic!
I'm a hairdresser's nightmare client, I'm sure...I'm not a "girly girl"...I have no real "style"...I haven't a clue about hair...I'm one of those people who go in and say "do what you think would look good". April knows that I own a brush and a blow dryer..no other hair "tools" and no "product". She always keeps this in mind and gives me a great "wash and go" look (and doesn't make it always the same so I have some nice changes and don't get in a rut). I appreciate that she never tries to "push" me into haircuts that require a lot of work from me and, although she might occasionally suggest a product, it's a very, very "soft sell" and I never feel obligated to buy or feel bad that I didn't. That's a big deal for me because I've been to salons where they give me a haircut that looks silly when I don't use a curling iron and 5 products on it and they really push the products. I like to feel comfortable in a salon and not worry about a sales pitch.
Before we go on vacations I get her to give me a perm so that my fine, rather limp hair will look nice even without me doing anything with it and I've always been very happy with the results!
Last year she colored my hair...for the first time in my life (I'm 50...she couldn't believe I had never done it before). She did so in a way that thrilled me...but wasn't so dramatic that I felt uncomfortable.
So if you want a great salon, choose this one...but don't all ask for April...I don't want her so busy that I can't get an appointment!Read more
