Manotick Tree Movers Inc. began as a registered partnership in 1991 (incorporated in 1996) by Ralph Sikkema and Fred Stevens. In 2011 Ken Stevens, Fred’s son, bought Ralph’s shares. Ken and Fred now run the business but Ralph remains a very valuable manager. Our management team currently combine to offer over 60 years of hands-on experience in the tree care industry.
Our early beginnings of relocating trees with a single tree spade has evolved to now include a complete range of the most progressive tree moving equipment available. Our tree spades sizes 38" through 90" are capable of digging and relocating trees up to 9" caliper size, including evergreens up to 600 cm (20 feet) tall.
We have always taken much pride in personally selecting and sourcing the finest quality seedlings and liners to grow and develop at our 55 acre farm at Carsonby. This allows us to offer a wide selection of the finest locally grown trees already proven hardy for our severe Ottawa valley winters.
Physiotherapy the way it should be. At M.A.P. Physiotherapy we believe that everyone who seeks out physiotherapy for their hearth care needs deserves to see a physiotherapist and no one else. At our clinic you will see the physiotherapist one on one for your entire appointment time each and every time. We do not use physiotherapy assistants, kinesiologists, or machines. We believe you deserve our full professional attention.

Hi, my name is John Haakman, I am the sole proprietor of Meadowlands Landscaping, a recent
start-up. My family was in the Landscaping business, so I have many years of experience starting
way back when I was 10. My philosophy is to keep things simple, you will see that in my work,
Landscaping has a lot to do with water and how you manage it, just think about it,
all your plants are dependent on it, your decks and patio systems have to allow it to drain away,
your lawn needs it, but it needs to drain away from the house, so in essence it is about
managing water. This is the first year in business for Meadowlands, if you have a project that
needs to be completed, give me a shot at it. It won't cost you a thing to get an estimate. I can
provide a quick quote, and if it is what you had in mind, then I can come up with a more
detailed plan of action, and go from there.
