The origins of VanMar Constructors Inc. can be traced back to 1973 when brothers Eric and Bernie launched their general contracting firm Van Maren Construction. Art Van Maren joined the firm in 1985. From modest beginnings in framing and concrete construction, the Van Maren brothers have built everything from town homes to hotels, non-profit social and co-operative housing, care facilities, seniors housing, luxury high-rise condominiums, office/retail to industrial buildings. In the process the Van Maren's have earned a wealth of experience that has enabled them to better serve their clients and create a successful business. Van Maren has developed a first class reputation with owners, lenders, investors and design teams. Also completed are 7 apartments and townhouse projects, 4 student housing projects, a waste transfer station, a convention lodge and 2 commercial projects.
