The point of studying the Arts is to perform! Performing gives students the confidence they need to succeed in a professional career of any kind. Stage experience is available to all performers throughout their training at Dance Expressions, enabling them to develop confidence, poise and stage manners. Our dancers perform at in-studio viewing weeks; bring a friend classes and creative showings during the year. All students taking regular yearly (Sept – June) classes at our studio also participate in our Year End Shows.
Steel School range in age from 4 to adult and classes range in level from new beginner through open championship. Since the school opened, dancers have competed and been successful at Regional, National and the International level. The Steel School of Irish Dance is a competitive school.
Classical ballet and contemporary dance located in Sechelt, BC. Artistic Director - Johanna Waldorf, ARAD, RAD RTS. We provide a focused and inspiring environment for young dancers to develop their knowledge and understanding of classical ballet. Our classes are open to ages 3yrs and up. We offer a variety of programs including Spring Intensives, Summer Dance Programs, and Professional Vocational Training with exceptional teachers and guests.
Parksville Ballet School is located in beautiful Parksville, British Columbia on central Vancouver Island. It has been in operation since 1973 and continues to provide excellent dance training to local students. It may look small from the outside, but inside you'll find 4 spacious studios, a large dressing room, bathrooms, office, costume room and waiting area. PBS offers 3 styles of dance training for ages 3 and up. A Kinder Program, a General Program and a Performing Arts Program. Classes include Cecchetti Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Modern. Our facility is also rented to others who provide Ballroom, Latin Dance, Belly Dance and Aerobics.
