My regular hairdresser had gone on maternity leave, so I was searching for a new stylist. Reviews on Yelp for The Beauty Parlour were great, so I decided to give it a try.
From the moment you walk in the entire atmosphere (music, decor, etc.) have an incredibly calming effect. Parking wasn't an issue, and it's at the beginning of Whyte Ave before you start running into a lot of traffic. Aspen, the manager, was very efficient, polite, and welcomed me right away. My stylist, Alysha, listened to what I wanted, made some great suggestions for cut, colour, and styling techniques, made me feel very comfortable (latte.. yes please! Scalp massage... thank you!!) and did a fantastic job on my hair.
As well, the products are sulphate, paraben, and ammonia free. Great news for pregnant ladies and anyone trying to live a less toxic lifestyle! They still work great; in fact, the hair products I left with work better than any other high end items I've purchased in the past, and smell amazing!
I left extremely relaxed and happy with the overall experience. I will definitely be back, and would recommend this salon to anyone.

I found this company online. I needed a kitchen plumbing leak fixed for a home inspection. They also did a free home inspection and found the expired washing machine hoses and replaced them. A previous home inspector missed this problem. Great guys! Personable and professional. It was a great experience.
