Garden Grove Child Care Inc. was opened in 1981 and was located in the Ecole Garden Grove School and was licensed for 30 school age children. Over the years, our centre has continued to respond to the increased need for child care. We currently are licensed for 18 Preschool (ages 4&5 yrs) and 34 School Age Spaces. Currently we are working on an expansion plan with the City and other funding partners to expand our program to meet community need.The centre is run by a Board of Directors, which is made up of parents / guardians and community members. Parental involvement is essential to the operation and success of the Centre.The centre employs a full time Executive Director who is responsible to manage the program.We have a dynamic and committed staff team who provide the quality programming to our children and families. Our license is renewed annually with the Government of Manitoba.The centre was founded in September of 1982 and is governed by a Board of Directors. Each year, an Annual General Meeting is held to elect a Board of Directors from the membership. Each parent with a child attending is considered a member. All parents are encouraged to attend this Annual General Meeting and volunteer as a Board Member.
WishlistDowns Childrens Centre is a non for profit licensed childcare centre located in the backstretch of Assiniboia Downs Race Track. We are primarily a workplace centre for the employees of Assiniboia Downs. However, we are also open to the community at large. Our centre has been around for 33 years.At our main centre we offer care to 20 Infants and 30 Preschool children. Our hours of Operation are:6:30am - 6:00pmWe are CLOSED on Holidays.In 2011 we expanded and opened additional spaces for our Pre K and School age children. This centre is located at 305 Morgan Crescent in the Morgan Community Centre. We offer full time care to 33 children 4 - 12 years old. This centre is open 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday. We are open during the summer and on school holidays - in-service days, Spring and Winter Break. We are closed on Statutory Holidays.We offer full time care to our Pre K children and our School age children attend before and after school and full time on in-service and holiday days.Bussing is available to children who attend Ecole Robert Browning and Buchanan Elementary.

It is obvious that the workers genuinely care for the kids, which is the most important thing.
They are sometimes a little quick to send kids home with sicknesses, which often turns into nothing. Would highly recommend.Read more
