Reconnect began in 1981 as a project to serve discharged psychiatric patients in Etobicoke, following the closure of Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital in 1979. A Community based Day Treatment program, funded by the Community Mental Health Branch of the Ministry of Health, was established in early in 1984. Reconnect is governed by a Board of Directors which includes consumers, family members, mental health and business professionals, and other interested community members.Over the years, Reconnect has expanded significantly. We are proud of the services we provide and pleased to offer a wide range of diverse community based programs of support services that include Case Management, Assertive Community Support and group programs.Our staff includes the Executive Director, Program Directors and Managers, Administrative Support Staff, and a multidisciplinary staff team. We also provide training to university and community college students who are interested in mental health.

Anthony provides marriage counselling, individual counselling, life coaching and training, working in a supportive environment to facilitate client-focused solutions.His approach is focused on fostering individuality, spiritual growth, rekindling passion and intimacy by celebrating the differences individuals we are.
