The first day of the new millennium, January 1, 2000 was on of the most keenly anticipated events in recent memory. It was a particularly special day for Chris Docksteader. That was the day Chris arrived in Lake Country for good. He'd visited the area as a child growing up in Vancouver, but when a job promotion meant relocating here, he viewed the move as an amazing gift and opportunity. At the time, he and his wife had a young daughter and another baby on the way. Chris quickly found himself captivated by the incredible lifestyle that Lake Country offers.
