Spend the day swimming and fishing; rent a paddleboat, canoe or kayak. Soak up the sun on the sandy beach, cool off on the splash pad or try the professional driving range or 18-hole mini putt. Enjoy the Jump Pad, horseshoes, half-court basketball and sand volleyball. Your hosts serve pancake breakfasts and cook up spaghetti and other meals on special holiday weekends. Oaks, maples and pines provide shade and ripple with color in autumn. You're just an hour west of Ottawa. Head back to KOA in time for a quiet evening by the campfire as the sun sets over the lake. LES-CANTONS-DE-L'EST (EASTERN TOWNSHIP) - ONE OF THE TOURIST REGIONS AMONG THE MOST APPRECIATED IN QUEBEC. The charming rural villages of Quebec - known as Eastern Townships - are only minutes away from this KOA. Not far from the border of Vermont, the campsite is at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by maple trees and enjoys a spring-fed lake. This KOA offers Pull-Thrus for big RVs.  Some sites are available with a patio and patio furniture.  Or stay in one of the cabins.  The Clubhouse, with a stage, is spacious enough to accommodate large groups (up to 120 people), including singers on Saturday nights and dances on Sunday afternoons.  The area is rich in art galleries, antique shops, Victorian houses and vineyards.  Nearby attractions include a water park, Zoo Granby and Waterloo Golf (KOA offers two free passes for an 18-hole round).  Montreal is about 40 miles to the west.  Hikers / cyclists can choose from hundreds of kilometers of trails that cover the valleys and peaks of the Appalachians.Your hosts: Mario and Ginette.Les charmants villages ruraux du Québec - connus sous le nom de Cantons-de-l'Est - ne sont qu'à quelques minutes de cette KOA.
