We are a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company discovering and developing novel oral drug candidates to treat inflammation and cancer. Our primary focus is anti-inflammatory product candidates targeting SH2-containing inositol-5'-phosphatase 1, or SHIP1, which is a key regulator of an important cellular signaling pathway in immune cells, known as the PI3K pathway. Our lead product candidate, AQX-1125, has demonstrated broad anti-inflammatory activity in vitro and in vivo, and has successfully completed three clinical trials with over 100 patients enrolled to date. We are currently investigating AQX-1125 in two Phase 2 clinical trials, one for exacerbations related to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, and one for Bladder Pain Syndrome/Interstitial Cystitis, or BPS/IC. COPD and BPS/IC are debilitating chronic inflammatory diseases affecting millions of people worldwide.

Bruce Carscadden Architect is a design studio based in Vancouver, Canada. In just a decade of practice, our firm has designed and executed numerous building types for a variety of clients. Current work is typically public in nature, with an emphasis on community recreation projects in the Lower Mainland and Interior of British Columbia.
