Before we established Avenue Flooring Ltd. we each owned and operated separate flooring and renovation businesses. Together, we had accumulated approximately 50 years of hands-on flooring and renovation expertise. Over the years, we grew to appreciate each others' work ethic. In 1974 heavy industry came to Port Dover, and Norfolk Knitters was unable to remain competitive - but at the urging of his customers, Len focused his attention on the retail business.
