I was 3 years old when I started dancing. I remember loving the studio as soon as I arrived. I immediately enjoyed the music and the friendliness of the teachers. In fact, I stayed there until
I graduated high school! There was something about that studio. It was my home from home. The teachers became my family and I had strong friendships with my dance friends. My confidence grew as I was offered opportunities to push myself further while
having fun at the same time. Having teachers who believed in me at a young age helped me pursue my dreams.
Center Stage School of Dance provides Mississauga with jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, hip hop, modern and musical theatre dance classes. Artistic Director Liz Haupert is a full member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA). She has served on the CDTA's stage and executive committees for the past 8 years. Established in 1995, the Center Stage School of Dance in Mississauga offers classes to children and adults too.
Can Dance Academy caters to the Clarkson-Lorne Park area in Mississauga. Now in our 19th year, we specialize in teaching all areas of performance dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Acro, Modern and Musical Theatre. We also teach Pilates for adults. Our annual recitals at Meadowvale Theatre are raved about and are hailed as amazing. They always include set, props, professional lighting design and video. Our competitive students do three competitions each year and many of our students take exams with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) in Jazz, Ballet and Tap. Our staff consists of CDTA accredited teachers and professional dancers.
