Partners Merv Colling and Jack Moed started Eastside with a two bay service facility and used car sales business. In 1992 Merv's son Glenn officially joined the Eastside team. With a degree in Automotive Management and Marketing, Glenn also decided to get his mechanics license. Glenn officially took over the shop when his dad semi retired in 2000.
