Heart-Sight is a trauma informed/attachment oriented practice that recognizes the impacts of oppression and intergenerational trauma. Using somatic, expressive and relational processes, I will support you to heal grow and be the change you want to see in our world.
The London InterCommunity Health Centre has been a part of London's Old East community for more than 20 years. We provide health and social services in a welcoming setting to those who experience barriers to care. These barriers may include poverty, homelessness, language or culture, and complex and/or chronic health conditions including mental health and addictions.Our two East London locations offer care by a team which includes family doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, dietitians and community health workers. The Health Centre offers many programs that address the factors in our living and working lives that impact our health, well-being and ability to reach our potential. These factors include income, education, employment, housing, food, recreation and social supports.Our vision is to build opportunities for healthy and inclusive communities.
Featuring a full-service, brand new, state-of-the-art walk-in clinic and family medicine practice including: - Two physicians on staff. Usually there is no wait to see the doctor. Free on-site parking, television in the front lobby, a female physician is available for female physical examinations and PAP tests, STD checks, TB skin tests, vaccinations, and other injections, pharmacy in the same plaza, doctor's notes and forms, travel vaccinations and counselling, third party examinations, MTO physicals, immigration physicals. IFH and UHIP patients are welcome.
Dr. Martin provides psychological assessment and therapy services to children and youth (birth to 18 years), and to their families. In assisting youth and families, the goal is to assess and promote strengths, and to identify and teach needed developmental skills to address academic, social, behaviour and/or emotional needs. Much of her practice is with youth who present with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disability, or ADHD.
