The District of Lillooet's legal fees associated with the Environmental Appeal Board process and security costs at the water treatment plant site have mounted up to $291,000.The District says it has money to pay those bills, but the municipality must now make up the subsequent shortfall from somewhere else.The question of the security and legal costs was raised during Public Question Period at council's Sept. 15 regular meeting.
