Shiv Mandir Burnaby is a Hindu Temple in Burnaby BC. As the spiritual center of the Fijian Hindu community we've been helping people on their spiritual journey, as well as helped those in need for 30 plus years and have been established as a positive staple of the community. We offer many teachings and lessons on subjects such as, Hindi language, Hinduism, Hindu Culture, and Religion, to people of all ages. The Acharya offers a variety of spiritual discourses or ritual performances, including weddings, poojas, hawans and more. We offer up the temple as an event space for a variety of functions including Hindu weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more. Maha Shiv Ratri, Ram Navami, Krishna Ashtami and Navratam are performed annually with hundreds of devotes participating. Bhajan and Kirtans performed on a regular basis. Ramayan Katha and Shiv Puran performed by Acharya weekly.
