Living Waters Canada exists to help people find hope and live life through experiencing Jesus in their relationships and sexuality. We carry out our mission by partnering with churches to offer safe places for spiritual care and experiential discipleship. Our staff, volunteers and partners work together to see people living healthy, hope-filled lives in their relationships, families and communities.Contact us ?I came to LW because my father was a well-known evangelist. We were shown off as children. I was always asking, 'Am I enough?' It was a huge wounding, the feeling of not being enough. I found healing in understanding what drove my addiction...God met me, showed me He is savior, redeemer and friend.?Read Stories of Hope? One of the most powerful signs of the in-breaking of the Kingdom of God in our time is Living Waters Canada.

Sunshine HouseKali Shiva AIDS Services has been working with people living with HIV/AIDS in Winnipeg since 1987. Sunshine House began operations in 1999 after broad consultation between affected communities, and national and local agencies active in the poly drug using community .A core of roughly 50 'regular' clients has emerged from the programs in place over the history of Kali Shiva at Sunshine House. This core of individuals is distinguished from the 4000/year 'occasional' users of service by their long-term participation in programs and use of practical services offered. The core of individuals has consistently followed us through two re-locations, including to our permanent facility at 646 Logan Avenue.Sunshine House has successfully engaged the most marginalized individuals in the Winnipeg poly drug using community by being a place where everyone is welcome, without judgement. A 'Harm Reduction' approach to our work has built a strong connection with people who often reject community services.

Since 1994, LITE has supported jobs in Winnipeg's inner city. As a Public Foundation, we raise money from generous Winnipeggers and spend it in ways that promote jobs and long-term development in the community. Why? Take a walk through many of our inner city neighbourhoods and you'll see a mix of situations. Bright and tidy efforts at community renewal and sturdy, long-time businesses exist side by side with some pretty big problems. You'll see empty buildings, vandalism, homelessness and racism to name a few. Tragically, there is a legacy of social decline in the inner city. It's evident to the casual observer as well as in income and employment statistics, which show growing numbers of people living in poverty and depending on social assistance.
