Since 1985 Funshine Centre has worked with governments and other agencies to help in providing clothing and shelter for those who are on the street. Meals on wheels for seniors. Awards for high school excellence.Since 1985, we have raised over 1 million with our partners that we have returned back to our communities that we serve.Funshine helps from the street through the criminal justice system and social assistance programs. We also help them with life skills to reintergrate back into society as a positive contrabutor to our community rather then a person without hope sleeping on the street.Funshine works with community groups to help them establish themselves and express a point of view which will open a dialogue in developing social justices. These group are chosen not that they hold the view of Funshine, but that they have a point of view that needs to be heard to create a multi cultural and just society.
