The men's club is open to any men interested in joining. Our membership is open to the public. There is also a companion Ladies Club for interested women. Our members are both working and retired and come from all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Our membership is a mixture of young and middle age adults, seniors and retirees. Our weekend events are designed so that everyone can compete, have fun and enjoy the camaraderie. Unlike the private and semi-private golf clubs, there is no huge golf course membership fee.

The B.C. Borstal Association, through the direct service of Dick Bell-Irving CBRF, provides life skills development workshops for men on conditional release. The workshops include teaching in areas such as: self-esteem and self worth recognition; personal hygiene; foodsafe, cooking and budget management; personal finance management; employment search and professional development; education training; and, lifestyle balance. Lifestyle balance is a critical component of our apporach. We believe that healing and recovery is fostered by growth in all the areas that make us whole. Towards this end, our resource at Dick Bell-Irving provides continuous opportunities for applied learning and personal growth in experiential ways.

A Modest Start Great Little Box Company Ltd. (GLBC) began operations in 1982 with a 5,000 square foot plant in Burnaby and only three employees. Although the early 80's were a challenge for business operators as a whole, the company successfully persevered under Robert Meggy's leadership. By establishing ourselves as an innovator in the industry and focusing on customer service, GLBC started what would become its long history of growth and expansion. Growing, Growing, Grown Between 1984 and 1996 GLBC made a series of four moves to and within Richmond. 1996 marked the move into the 140,000 sq ft location in Vancouver and a short ten years later, 2006 saw the move to the new 250,000 sq ft facility on Mitchell Island. In addition to head office expansions, GLBC expanded into other markets in the region through the opening of three sales and distribution offices. The first branch to open was Victoria in 1992. 1998 saw significant expansion with the opening of the Kelowna Branch in June followed quickly by the establishment of a sister company - Great Little Box Company Inc. (also known as the Everett Branch) - in August. With the three branches and the head office, GLBC can effectively service our customers in BC and Washington. Expanding Services GLBC strives to offer customers a 'one-stop shop' for all their packaging and shipping needs. In keeping with this philosophy, GLBC established a moving supplies division in 2004 and a label division in 2006. GLBC's product and service offerings help to meet customer needs and distinguish us from the competition. Our main business operation includes designing and manufacturing customer and stock corrugated boxes and displays. In addition, we produce foam protective packaging, labels and distribute a full range of shipping and moving supplies. We also distinguish ourselves through services such as Inventory Management. The B.C. Chinese Music Association (BCCMA) was formed in 1995 by enthusiastic Chinese music lovers who wished to promote Chinese music within our multicultural society. It provides a platform for Chinese music lovers and promotes Chinese music in the wider community. Its aim is to share Chinese musical culture with others to increase Canada's understanding of Chinese culture through music.

Anke Zimmermann, BSc, FCAH, is a classical and modern homeopath with a special interest in developmental and behavioural disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, learning disabilities, OCD and other anxiety disorders, excessive aggression and jealousy, nightmares and night terrors. She also offers homeopathic care for other more common childhood conditions, including eczema, asthma, allergies and ear infections as well as any auto-immune conditions. Other areas of interest include vaccine and medication injuries as well as homeoprophylaxis. Anke has 28 years of clinical experience.
