Today April 4 2019 I went to the Orillia Home Depot to get replacement tiles for flooring I purchased approximately 4-5 years ago to find out that the Allure brand was not available in store or on the Internet. I was sent to the flooring department and sat down with Lawrence a part-time employee who went above and beyond to help me. After over an hour of him searching and making phones calls he did it. I have been using Ruffsport for over 3 years. Heather and her facilities are absolutely amazing. Her love and care for our dogs is beyond believable. Our Border Collie went to her for board and train out of control and terrorizing out cats. When we got her back she was a different dog. Scott, president & founder, established Scott’s Landscaping and Design in 1978 in Orillia. Kevin’s father, William Scott, retired from the aircraft industry and began helping in the business. In 1981, Kevin and William incorporated the company and became partners. William was an integral part of the business for over 25 years. In 1983 they purchased the property at 254 Coldwater Road where Scott's Garden Centre continues to grow today. Kevin's wife, Pat, joined the company in 1986. Their three children, Stephen, Patricia and Alex grew up working in the greenhouse and Alex remains in the business today. Kevin's mother Kathleen, in her 90's, still loves working in the greenhouse.
