The Slocan Valley Seniors Housing Society was formed in 1995 and incorporated in 1997 to develop affordable seniors housing and related services. With tremendous support from the community and a committed group of volunteers the Society built and since 1999 has maintained the very successful 10 unit Passmore Lodge in Passmore, B.C. Community Groups use the Lodge for literacy art and intergenerational programs and for seniors fitness classes. It has maintained charitable status with Revenue Canada since incorporation.

Bannock Point Development and EnhancementFrom 2009 to 2012, during our first four years of operation, we focussed on local job creation, a safer community, and stewardship of our landbase.
