It's all part of a demonstration project aimed at testing the province's wind potential. The goal is to determine if selfgenerating electricity will lower power bills associated with operating municipal rinks in each community. The following turbines will be installed and operational in Central Butte, Eatonia, Shaunavon and Strasbourg by late summer and will be monitored for up to five years.
