Election Day is October 22, 2014.Nomination period is September 10th, 11th, 12th, 15th and 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. sharp. Absolutely no nominations will be received before 9:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m. Nomination forms available at the municipal office.Candidates may withdraw their nomination, in writing and witnessed until 4:00 p.m. on September 17th only if sufficient candidates remain for the position. (see form 19)Candidates may appoint an agent, in writing to the Senior Election Officer. (see form 15)Candidates may appoint scrutineers, in writing. Maximum of 2 scrutineers for each poll. Scrutineer must be 18 years of age, and must take oath (see forms 16,17, and 18). Scrutineers may be present at voting place 15 minutes before polls open, remain there for the duration of the vote (8 a.m.8 p.m.) and be present for the count.Order of the names on the ballots will be determined by Random Order.
