The staff at Sub-Arctic Surveys Ltd. has extensive experience in conducting legal, control, construction, topographic, pre-engineering and mining surveys in communities and remote sites throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Based in Yellowknife, Sub-Arctic Surveys has been involved in the exploration and construction phases of every diamond mine in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Opened in 1992 as a retail and production facility for traditional and Nunavut themed arts and crafts in Rankin Inlet, Ivalu carries a wide variety of products from across Nunavut. Although no longer involved in production, Ivalu continues as a thriving retail outlet and as purchaser and distributor of a wide variety of arts and crafts from artisans across the territory.
