Home Association Mission StatementThe Thunder Bay Law Association is a voluntary organization of lawyers residing and practicing law in the District of Thunder Bay on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior.The Association provides continuing legal education and specialized library services to its members, organizes social events and generally represents the interests of the legal community to government and the public.The Thunder Bay Law Association was formed in 1905. Today the membership numbers approximately 200 and is administered by a 20 member Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly throughout the year with various committees meeting as needed. The mission of the Society of Jesus is the service of faith and the promotion of justice, to be with Jesus as He builds a Kingdom of love, justice and peace. Easter Seals Ontario provides programs and services to children and youth with physical disabilities across Ontario to help them achieve greater independence, accessibility and integration. We provide financial assistance of up to $3 000 per year, per child to help purchase essential mobility equipment such as wheelchair, walkers, ramps or lifts.
Alpha Court is a non-profit community organization governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. We provide subsidized housing and case management services to individuals with a serious mental illness and/or a drug/alcohol addiction. Services are provided by dedicated and professional staff.
Alpha Court promotes living beyond mental illness and addiction through the provision of individualized, recovery-orientated community-based services.
Alpha Court envisions a society where all individuals, regardless of their mental health or addiction challenges, can reach their full potential and live productive lives.
