North Parkland Power Co-op brings over 25 years experience in rural electrification and industry knowledge.
Our understanding of the diverse area in which we operate provides our members with the assurance that their wants are being heard and their needs are being met.
Living in the region in which we operate allows us to support local businesses, which in turn nurtures our rural economy.
We pride ourselves in supporting local career programs and recruiting local talent. As a self operating, member owned organization, we own and maintain the power poles and lines in our operating area, which stretches as far south west as Morinville and as far north east as Lac La Biche. This equates to 1,800 miles of line and approximately 28,500 power poles. Our team consists of 7 Journeyman Powerline Technicians, and a team of office staff, field support, and management that round out our diverse North Parkland Power Co-op team, providing valuable information and service to all our members.
The delightful High Prairie Tourist Booth in the center of Town welcomes visitors. Behindthe booth, a lakeshore scene is a mural on the museum painted by local artist Denise Kemp. Please select one of the links on the left to browse the different areas of this website.
