Health Care in Our CommunityThanks to the generosity of donors like you, urgently needed medical equipment continues to be put into the hands of those who save lives and administer care at the GWM site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital. The GWM Foundation raises and stewards funds to support the Perth site in its delivery of quality, patient-centred health care. This happens only with the support of our community. Many believe that governments fund healthcare completely. The reality is that governments pay for only a portion of hospital needs. Foundations exist in communities all across Canada because the high-quality care that you expect, and deserve, costs more than what is funded by government.Your support is extremely important to us. Please continue to support the doctors, nurses and other key members of your local healthcare team.
