In training I was privileged to learn and apply many theoretical frameworks that inform my practice. In order to graduate with our Master's degree, we therapists in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program were expected to earn a minimum 500 hours with real clients during supervised training. I have benefitted and continue to benefit from excellent supervision. This means that the client profits from both my experience and from that of a more seasoned professional.
