In over 50 years of operations, Tre Mari Bakery has always been a family affair. Tre Mari Bakery started out as a quaint little grocery store/bakery in a predominantly Italian neighborhood on St. Clair Ave. West. Vincent and his wife Mary Deleo worked diligently and were as concerned with making a quality product as they were with serving the community.
Yes look no further! I have sampled them all and you will find the best here. Fresh, creamy, crunchy and perfectly golden. The family who owns the bakery is equally lovely as well. Most requested item by friends and family when I visit uptown from downtown!Read more
LOVE LOVE LOVE this bakery. We have ordered (baptism) cakes from here before and they are not only beautiful but super delicious as well! We last went on Thanksgiving to get some fresh buns and bakery for dinner and yet again another great experience! The buns were coming fresh from the oven! We are treated like family when we go there. I took forever to choose my pastries and although it was very busy, they took their time with me and were incredibly friendly! Amazing staff and food!Read more
Germany is a country known for fine food, but it is perhaps most renowned for the fine art of baking. German bakers and their creations are respected the world over. None deserve this reputation more than Alfons Dimpflmeier. Trained as a Master Baker then graduated at the famous Handelskammer in Munich, Mr. Dimpflmeier brought his rare skills to Canada in 1957. From the beginning Mr. Dimpflmeier has used century old recipes baked in authentic stone ovens to create rye breads of superb quality and flavor. Baking true rye bread is a delicate and lengthy process that demands the finest natural ingredients and painstaking preparation. Dimpflmeier Rye Breads are now available throughout North America but every loaf is still prepared with the same tradition of excellence that has always distinguished Dimpflmeier products.

Future Bakery is a family-run business in Toronto specializing in traditionally made breads, buns, pastries, and fresh dairy products from local farms, emphasizing natural ingredients without preservatives.
Love their fresh bread. My favourite is the rye bread (without currants). But I have tried several other loaves as well. Good thing I have a deep-freeze for when I walk out yet again with more than one. This bakery also offers many other imported items. And it is the only where I can get a great sauerkraut and red cabbage. I could go on about other items (butcher counter, front counter fresh pastries), but I urge you to go and find out for yourselves. Enjoy!Read more
