Pelling Industries Ltd. started in the Comox Valley. Shawn Pelling the Principal (born and raised in the Valley) started working in the trades in the Valley in 1994. He started a siding company with his brother but moved to Victoria to pursue the leaky condo market. This gave him experience in all trades from finishing to drywall, masonry to concrete, and took him to Vancouver and eventually to Whistler. In 2002 Pelling Industries Ltd. was formed and Pelling began serving the water ingress problems of Whistler as well as doing high end renovations and building as a General Contracting firm. Shawn designed the web page that tracks all costs in real time, giving clients access to all aspects of the project. Clients can log in from anywhere in the world or just at work and monitor and be kept apprised of the project they have running!!
