We toured all of the Peterborough retirement residences when we were looking for a spot for my father. Applewood immediately felt warm and welcoming. We have never regretted the decision. They have provided a home-like atmosphere, with caring staff, and plenty of activities for those so inclined. The management response during this COVID pandemic has been nothing short of heroic. Sherbrooke Heights has been our vet of choice for the past 13.5 years and we are very pleased with the quality of care and the compassion showed to us over the years. Having a pet is one of the most rewarding investment that you can make, but it can also be one of the hardest decisions you have to make. Unfortunately a dogs lifespan is alot shorter than humans and so it is inevitable that you will have to say goodbye before you are truly ready to let your fur baby go.
