Each Year, Because Of Their Age, We At Camp Kodiak Reluctantly And Sadly Say ''Good-Bye'' To A Number Of Our Campers. Almost Always, That Reluctance And Sadness Is Mutual. For Most Of Our Campers, Camp Is The Highlight Of Their Year. It Is Where They Have Friends, Where They Feel Successful And Where They Truly Feel Like Part Of The Group. Typically, Our Campers Made Great Strides In The Safe And Nurturing Environment That We Provide. Unfortunately, When They Left, There Was No Next Step; There Were No Similar Programs For Young Adults. Well, All Of That Changed In 2007! Club Kodiak Was Established, And Now Provides A Safe And Structured Environment Tailored To Meet The Needs Of Young Adults Age 19+.
Our sixteen acre property, with 450 feet of shoreline, has a children's playground, swimming pool, bonfire area, and offers you complete privacy. Yet only 45 minutes by car are some of the finest restaurants, golf courses, theatres and shopping malls in Canada, located in either North Bay or Sudbury.
Fishers' Paradise is a family owned and operated Outdoor Recreation Facility aimed at creating and hosting special occasions for those who enjoy nature's bounty in Northern Ontario.
