Located 70km west of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, in the heart of David Thompson Country, Camp Alexo has been providing memories to last a lifetime since 1984.
The summer residential program is a traditional summer camp offering a variety of opportunities for children and youth to grow and discover their potential. The agency strongly believes that an outdoor wilderness environment is a setting that can offer unique opportunities for children and youth to learn lifelong skills, discover new interests and to make new friends. Our camper to counsellor ratio is 3:1 to ensure that every child achieves the maximum benefit from the experience. All counsellors are appropriately trained and screened in accordance to accepted standards.
Westward Bound Campgrounds operates 14 campgrounds and group camping sites in Central Alberta, offering facilities for camping, fishing, and hiking while ensuring an enjoyable outdoor experience for visitors.
