The collectors were interacting and making fanzines as early as the mid-?60s in Winnipeg. Some of the biggest mail-order dealers in the country were there. Per capita, it was probably the number one comic city in Canada for 30 to 40 years. Back then I was doing newspaper articles, TV and radio would get ahold of me and then people would get ahold of me. The National Film Board even did a biography of me and my comics, and added some cartoons.
