To work with the City of Winnipeg to further the aims of our club, and with their help in guiding the people of the community in the appreciation and use of the Community Centre.To promote activities through which funds may be raised to use for the improvements and to finance activities at the Centre, which the City of Winnipeg in financially unable to do.

Waverley Heights Community Centre (WHCC) basketball teams will be playing in the Community Club Basketball League (Club Basketball) being offered by the WMBA. The WMBA also offers a Rising Stars League. Rising stars athletes may not play on a WMBA Community Club team during the same season. Players are only permitted to play on one WMBA team at a time.The WMBA is a not-for-profit community club based basketball league located in Winnipeg.
