Mordens' was founded in 1959 by Blake and Shirley Morden, when they decided to take their love of chocolate and confection, and turn it into a business. They started with just a scale, a kettle, and two marble slabs, and steadily grew over the years to become one of Winnipeg’s favourite local businesses.
