Our vision is to 'to know Him and to make Him known' with excellence by bringing the good news to our neighbours, and discipling believers in a Holy Spirit environment, while fostering a church culture of love, care and giving. Elim is an evangelical and pentecostal Christian church that is part of the Apostolic Church in Canada (www.apostolic.ca). In the early part of the twentieth century, revival was evidenced in Great Britain, particularly in Wales. Our church was birthed from the seeds of the Welsh revival of 1904-05 planted through its founder Daniel Powell Williams. The revival brought a newly empowered gospel to Canada, as well as many other parts of the world in the 1930?s for the birth of an Apostolic Movement. The Apostolic Church has since been established in more than 60 coun-tries all over the world.

We have to bring to people the bread of justice, the breadof the Word of God, the bread of true freedom, the bread of fraternity and the bread of unity. More than ever, our divided and fearful world needs to see in Christ that bread and fountain of life that unites all God's people in the garment of love and friendship. More than ever, the hungry majority in the world needs to find in Christ through us the bread that can satisfy both spiritual and material hunger.
