The best customer service anywhere, period. Not just in terms of comic book shops, but in retail in general. It's like a family in there. Everyone is very friendly and accepting of everyone and you can easily get caught in an hour long conversation if you're not careful. The staff is entirely made of passionate people who care about their customers and about the products. I would recommend this shop to anyone over just about any other store in the GTA, well worth any sort of drive.

I have never been to BMV to sell books, but every time I go to buy, the staff have been very helpful and friendly, and their prices are really good! I think they have a great selection - not as many books as, say, Indigo, but for the size of their store they really fit a lot into it. I enjoy going there and would recommend checking out their store before making your way to Indigo. Love BMV! I am soooo relieved that this location was not sacrificed to the urban development overlords. :)

I have grown up with this lovely shop with the hobby of hockey cards. Altered States helped me through loving the hobby to it's fullest. Suggesting products, informing me about products, keeping me updated with the hobby itself. They would always order specific supplies for the customers, and they would get it fast. The product would arrive the next day just for the customer. These 2 brothers are customer service fanatics. LOVE THIS STORE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
