I have never been to BMV to sell books, but every time I go to buy, the staff have been very helpful and friendly, and their prices are really good! I think they have a great selection - not as many books as, say, Indigo, but for the size of their store they really fit a lot into it. I enjoy going there and would recommend checking out their store before making your way to Indigo. Love BMV! I am soooo relieved that this location was not sacrificed to the urban development overlords. :)

The best customer service anywhere, period. Not just in terms of comic book shops, but in retail in general. It's like a family in there. Everyone is very friendly and accepting of everyone and you can easily get caught in an hour long conversation if you're not careful. The staff is entirely made of passionate people who care about their customers and about the products. I would recommend this shop to anyone over just about any other store in the GTA, well worth any sort of drive.

The store itself is very kid friendly and has a special childrens section that is filled with all ages books that are at reduced prices.We also put a real emphasis on reading comics rather than collecting them. One way we do that is by not putting our comics into our back issue bins until we absolutely have to. As a result, people can sometimes pick up the last six issues of a title off of the rack and still pay cover price for them.Bottom line, we do our best to make sure you get a good product at a fair price.
