The main difference is the philosophy behind the neighbourhood house movement. Neighbourhood Houses bring people together to build and strengthen their communities, which means that every NH is different, reflecting and responding to the needs of the community in which it is located.

At Thompson Community Services we offer highly individualized, solution-focused services for individuals, families and funders. We know that over time, each individual's needs change and evolve and so offer the planning and choices required to adapt to those changes. We believe that choices and flexibility are important for all of us and providing those options are part of providing care with dignity and respect.

We are a non-profit registered charity providing social services primarily in Surrey, Delta, White Rock and Langley. We believe in helping people help themselves.
