Hudson Bay Helicopters has been operating out of Churchill for over 25 years and pioneered polar bear flight sightseeing. We operate a base year round in Churchill. We work with Natural Resources Canada and biologists from around the world who study polar bears and other wildlife in the area. We are a full service helicopter charter company with the added value of being a first class tour operator. We know polar bears and would love to take you to meet them and the other wildlife that populates the region. Our many years flying in every northern condition have taught us a lot about sightseeing tours. First and foremost is the safety and comfort of our guests while ensuring their enjoyment. We pride ourselves in always operating with the protection of the environment and the animals at all times. We are the only helicopter operator in Canada with permits to fly in the Wapusk National Park which is home to one of the world’s largest polar bear maternity denning areas.
