We are all longing for connection. Everyone wants to be seen, heard, and valued. When someone struggles with childhood wounds or trauma, they often feel unworthy of love or acceptance and that affects their day-to-day life and relationships. Maybe you have even developed some unhealthy coping skills like addictions, disordered eating, or self-harming behaviors. Pushing away your needs and not working through these challenges can lead to long-term issues for your mind and body. It should not be so hard to live a better life. Together, we can find connection, hope, and change!
One of my main goals as a therapist is to work towards undoing loneliness. I work from an attachment-based, client-centered, and trauma informed perspective. The way that we attach to other people impacts how we show up in all relationships. I see so many folks who are longing for connection and look for it in unhealthy places and ways. I want to connect with you and help you feel less alone.

At Mah's Counselling Services, my goal is to provide confidential, compassionate and caring counseling for those struggling with drug addictions, alcohol abuse and addictions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and anger management.
