Together they have five adult children and eleven grandchildren.'Although our respective careers and family life are rewarding and busy, after taking instruction for many years, and apprenticing with our social ballroom teachers, Gloria and Cyril Penny, we decided to begin our own studio and teach in our spare time to provide us with the opportunity to pass our enthusiasm and passion for dance on to others.
Ascension Dance offers a welcoming dance studio in Chatham, providing ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, lyrical, and musical theatre classes for all ages, along with inclusive summer camps and recreational programs designed to foster belonging and self-expression through movement and community.
