My daughter danced at the Walnut Grove School of Music and Dance for fifteen years. Grace experienced a wide variety of dance genres such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. The dance teachers are exceptional and along with their caring attitudes, knowledge & expertise made my daughter's experiences so memorable. Her dance groups were close and she maintained relationships with some of her classmates and teachers. The school was her second home away from home! She loved the studio!

Artistic Director and Instructor, Jill Tunbridge began Spanish dancing at an early age in Cape Town. At 19, she studied in Toronto for four years and in 1994 she moved to Vancouver, continuing her pursuit of Flamenco. In 2000, she began to share her passion by starting a beginner class in White Rock. She continues to promote this amazing, electrifying dance.
Our social classes are designed for any beginner who has always wanted to learn to dance. We make our classes fun and easy, while still imparting the correct technique and style. Our specialty is in the "Rhythm and Smooth" dances which include: Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa/Mambo, Merengue, Samba, Bolero, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2 Step, Foxtrot, Tango, Slow Waltz and Viennese Waltz. Absolutely no experience is necessary, and we will provide partners by balancing the classes between leaders and followers. You will be dancing after the very first night! Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.
Spiral Dance has 20 years of offering high quality dance instruction in the White Rock/South Surrey area. We take pride in offering new and returning students a positive atmosphere that promotes self-esteem, creativity, personal growth and fun. The studio name is fittingly dubbed after the ancient symbol (the spiral): a continuum that signifies the movement of energy.
