Focus Studio Dance has been in the St.Vital community for over 20 years and is one of Winnipeg's best dance training schools. The school provides dance training for beginners to pre professional, with qualified teachers in all dance disciplines. The School of Dance, Music and Theatre was established as a project of the India Association of Winnipeg in 1980, with a mandate to promote the East Indian visual and performing arts in Manitoba. In 1983, the institution was independently incorporated as the ''INDIA SCHOOL OF DANCE, MUSIC & THEATRE INC.''. In 1986, the School acquired its own studios/offices at 567 St. Mary's Road (Winnipeg Manitoba). From a small beginning of only 25 students, the School now accommodates well over 150.
